Learn Real French Now, with "Allo Mays?", offers French language online level evaluations via videoconference. It is an online individual session during which the trainer assesses the language skills of the learner in French.
This service is designed for anyone who wants to know his or her level in French for professional or personal purposes. In foreign language learning, assessment is an important step. It helps take stock of achievements thus far and guide the learning according to the objectives, needs, and desires of the learner.

Level evaluation through videoconference is an online individual service offering the opportunity to discover one’s level in French.
Evaluations are based on the European Framework of Reference for Languages, and specifically on the French Knowledge Test (TCF), an instrument for knowledge assessment It is easy, efficient, and allows one to quickly give a score on a scale of knowledge and language proficiency with connections to six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
These evaluations assess various skills: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, oral production, written production and the structure of the language. It is possible to evaluate any or all the skills according to the needs of each learner.
Each skill is assessed on six levels, these levels correspond to the levels cited above, usually used in language teaching. For each level, several questions are asked; the objective is to test one’s abilities as much as possible, which justifies a higher level.

Length of evaluation varies depending on skills assessed:
- 25 minutes for listening comprehension,
- 20 minutes for structure of the language,
- 45 minutes for reading comprehension,
- 15 minutes for oral production
- 1h45 pour written production.
To be assessed on all skills, it takes a total of 3.5 hours.

With technical evaluation grids, the diagnosis is accurate and detailed.
The evaluation results are emailed with the technical evaluation grid completed and a certificate level attached. It is possible to request an appointment with the trainer in order to get more informations, explanations, or ask questions on gray areas.
This assessment, precise, is different from the proposed placement test in our tools to determine the level of a learner prior to placement in a class, evaluating only the written expression (at first).

Why ask for a level of evaluation?
- you want to integrate into a French university (minimum level required: DELF B2),
- you want to apply for a visa for France,
- you apply for a employment in a French-speaking environment and were asked for your level of French,
- you want a French language exam (DELF, DALF, TCF), but you do not know for which one to prepare.
Level evaluation, under the list of sessions to learn French differently, can be chosen as a basis or to supplement learning.
Depending on the chosen package under individual (credit hours to use depending on your needs) or on the package selected for the virtual classroom (options to select or credit hours individually, to purchase in package or out of package), valid for one month, every learner has the opportunity to ask for a French level evaluation.
