Courses concept
In standard and intensive French courses in immersion, different ways of learning are offered:
- Morning courses—3 hours: 12 hours a week for intensive summer courses and 15 hours a week for standard courses. The goal is to instill lexical and grammatical tools across the five skills (comprehension, oral production and interaction, understanding, and written) to communicate in French. - Workshops in the afternoon—2 hours each: 2 to 4 workshops for summer intensive courses (from 4 hours to 8 hours depending on the selected package) and 1 to 5 for the standard courses (from 2 hours to 10 hours depending on the selected formula). The goal is to "do" things in French like the French. Read more about the workshops.
- Cultural events in the evening—a minimum of two hours: from 2 to 4 for the summer intensive courses (from 4 hours to 8 hours according to the package chosen) and 2 for standard courses (Monday and Friday, 4 hours) . The goal is to capture the French culture and its codes to "live in France as the French." Read more about cultural events.
- An all day regional excursion every Friday (from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) for the summer intensive courses. The aim is to discover this beautiful Occitanie region. Read more about regional excursion tours and about the Occitanie region.
For the standard courses, outings can be organized, depending on the desires of the group, but they are not part of the "all inclusive" package.
"Through a combined learning - 50% in the classroom, 50% outside the classroom - in language immersion, the learner become fluent in French through language-culture courses, workshops, cultural events (and / or excursions) which will allow him to develop knowledge, linguistic-cultural skills by practicing more and more and, also, to have great experiences with the French people."
Method
Learn Real French Now is based on the "action- method" from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages*.
This method consists of working with authentic documents: articles read by the French, advertisements seen by the French, television or radio programs important to the French.
This reference book advocates doing things all in French: "French is the tool but also the objective"; such a method further motivates learners.
We have, for each level, programs that provides students with the most important phrases to understand and be understood in French.

What sets us apart
Above all, our immersion programs place great emphasis on cultivating relationships: learners will spend a lot of time together, with their teacher, but also with French people.
We want our students to feel comfortable, so that they learn better and more efficiently. We don’t want to have a classic relationship of teacher vs. student. It is our hope that we will be one big family!
